Heroes Foundation of America is a Non-Profit organization based upon the conviction that an educated citizen is essential to a healthy community and economy.
The foundation provides scholarship opportunities to post-secondary/ vocational programs and support services to GED students and recent graduates who were enrolled in adult education programs in the School District of Palm Beach County and who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals.

HEROES Foundation of America, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based upon the conviction that an educated citizen is essential to a healthy community and economy. The Foundation provides support services to GED students and scholarship opportunities to graduates, who were enrolled in adult education programs, for post-secondary/ vocational programs, and who otherwise would not have the financial means to fulfill their educational goals. HEROES will lead a collaborative network of community and educational partners aligned to support student preparation, transition, and persistence to high school equivalence diploma completion.

OUR VISION
The Foundation sees education as a catalyst of change, a major driver of economic growth, benefits to society, and a positive impact on the quality of life of individuals and future generations. HEROES Foundation will support those who lack financial resources and services to attain a high school equivalency diploma and access to postsecondary/ vocational education will be available to all with the potential to succeed.

THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS
While college education can significantly impact job options, the jump in employment potential is major when you have a high school diploma. According to the American Academy educational services organization, 60 percent of skilled jobs require that candidates have a minimum of a high school diploma.
HEROES foundation of America provides funds for scholarships, counseling, completes documentation required for testing with accommodations on the GED Test, and support services to boost GED graduations and transition students to post-secondary, vocational or employment opportunities.
