Dixon Li / Treasurer

Dixon was born and raised in Hong Kong. He came to the United States in 1973 and attended Florida Atlantic University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1976. 
 
For many years, Dixon owned and operated Dixon Li’s Oriental Express Chinese Restaurant, Li Realty & Investments Company & Li & Associates Insurance Agency. Dixon started Li & Associates in 1991 with only 6 associates. With the help of many dedicated associates, Li & Associates Insurance expanded to three more branches in Florida. Li & Associates Insurance merged with Gateway Insurance Agency in 2002 to become one of the largest locally owned agencies in South Florida. Dixon has been active within the industry by serving on the AmericaChina Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, Florida Chapter.  
 
Dixon and his wife Ida have two children, Clara and Sophia. Both daughters reside in the Washington D.C. metro area., Dixon and Ida enjoy golf and traveling.
