Yianna Mackres Kaplanidis has more than 17 years of experience in real estate, licensed in both Florida and Massachusetts. Since 2005, she has closed over 500 transactions in residential and commercial real estate. Her lifelong passion for helping people has been nourished by her education and experience in business, law, and real estate. Yianna handles contract negotiations with precision along with complex individual transactions, often involving 275 tasks, and is laser-focused on protecting her client’s interests throughout the process. Yianna is known for tailoring her approach to each specific client to meet their unique needs; from first-time buyers, to estate-sellers, snowbirds, and investors.

Yianna has a keen eye for both residential and commercial properties in Florida’s Palm Beach County and Palm Beach Island. She has expertise in golf communities, historical districts, and luxury properties. Since she has an international broker network, she is able to quickly assist clients with worldwide referrals.

Raised in Greece and New Jersey, Yianna holds degrees from Boston College and Massachusetts School of Law. She has worked with attorneys in business, medical malpractice, and real estate law, which is what piqued her interest in real estate. Shortly after, she earned her license in Florida determined to become an agent dedicated to her clients.

In her first role with Coldwell Banker, Yianna closed 85 transactions and earned the honor of “Rookie of the Year.” After gaining her broker license, she served as managing broker for several Palm Beach Island boutique real estate firms, and in 2013, she joined The Corcoran Group. Yianna continues to further her education and training in cutting-edge real estate practices focusing on gaining the expertise and knowledge to provide exceptional client service.

Yianna is married to her husband of 26 years, businessman-restauranteur John Kaplanidis, and owner of the local franchise, Mr. Gyros. Yianna has applied her entrepreneurial abilities and expertise to assist John in buying, selling, and flipping restaurant properties; first in Boston, and later in South Florida. She was incremental in the expansion process of Mr. Gyros, which currently has three popular locations in South Florida.

A true family person, Yianna is active in the Greek Orthodox church, where has taught Greek school, Sunday school, and folklore dancing. She is very active in philanthropy and generously contributes her time and resources to several local and national charities. Yianna and John have two sons, George, who is currently finishing his degree at the University of Florida, and Vasilis, who is studying at the Virginia Military Institute.
